Hahahaha.
Shounen anime at its finest.

T'was cute, but Sage, baby, your voice actin' needs a little tinkering.
The animation is smooth as always and the content was original. A nice watch.
Not worth the wait and mountainous expectations, but that's okay, the plot's moving along smoothly. I've noticed the dialogue focuses too much on one-liners and corny jokes instead sounding realistic, but I suppose that's been a staple for this series. I'm intrigued to how this plot is going to play out after the assignment was given to them by the old man. Hope to see this series go skyward. See what I did there?
This moment in Game Grumps history will be remembered for ages. As will all freak-out moments, but this one takes the cake. Or Grump. Or something.
This moment easily deserves five stars, but it's not your original content, so I'm basing my review based solely on your animation, which was enjoyable to watch, but just seemed stiff overall. I thank you for putting these words into a motion picture anyway.
Well, someone gets a little flustered when people don't write good reviews with their scores. I'll change that.
This may be overhyped, but that's only because of my love for random humor. This video was probably the funniest Sonic-related flash I've seen in quite a while. I got all the references and all of the jokes, whether they be closely tied with the Sonic franchise, or just some random images.
The animation truly made this all the more enjoyable. So many images in this flash are worthy of putting up in a museum. They're that fantastically amazing. It also contributed to a majority of my chuckles. I congratulate you on tickling my funny bone, good sir.
Is there anything wrong with this video? Maybe, if you don't like videos that bombard your sight with exaggerated visuals and over-the-top voice acting. But then again, if you didn't like that, you wouldn't watch anime, er, I mean this video. Fortunately, I do enjoy those things. So a good rating is thrust from my fingertips to the database that is the Newgrounds Rating System. Good work.
i dont hate negative reviews, oh noo....infact i welcome them so i can imrpove from them.
but if someone gives my flashes low score WITHOUT an explaintation. thats just fucked up and pisses me off
You were only chopped into three pieces! You'll live!
It's the billionth pokemon animation made, but it certainly isn't down in quality. Very well done.
Look at all of these biased reviews based on fans, it humors me.
Which is ironic, because I'm a fan of Pewdie as well.
Yes, I understand he's untalented, yes, I understand he's most likely the same as every other powerhouse on Youtube, and yes, he may very well be popular for nothing, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he's popular, nonetheless. We just have to deal with it. In fact, I'm encouraged by the fact that he's so popular. It makes me feel better about my own chances at Youtube stardom. If Fred can get his own tv shows and movies on Nickelodeon simply by editing his voice to that of an annoying chipmunk, who's to say I won't by writing reviews on parodies such as this?
It's incredibly unlikely because no one reads, but I'm still hopeful.
Enough of my rambling. I enjoyed this video, despite my bro rank among his bro army. Every attitude Pewdie shows in this parody is actually similar to what actually occurs in his videos, but you left out the constant swearing and confusing mumbles to himself.
Everything about this video shows what everyone thinks of Youtube giants like Pewdie, I included. While being a fan of his makes me WANT to believe that he's different than the others, that's obviously not going to change anything. Why do I feel like this review is going in circles? Bah, I'll end it here.
Dat sheet waz funni. LOL. Bro-fist. :]
Alright, I had to watch this video twice to really comprehend the meaning of this video... I'm not sure why.
Despite that, I'm sure many put a lot of work and effort into this video and tried to send a message. The effort shows. However, effort alone isn't what makes a video well done.
I understand the moral of this story in regards to finding one's true identity, but I feel like if I had to watch this video twice to understand that concept, the video might not have done too well in explaining it. While the concept is interesting and makes you think, it just doesn't work in this video.
For example, Kafei wants to become "a man" by questing and going out to dangerous places to... do quests. He's saved from inevitable death by a Keaton who tells him his motives are in the wrong place. He rewards his "naivety" with a mask that shall not be removed until he becomes "a man." Is this journey to manhood significant through marriage? That's what it seemed like with the following scene.
This message continues with the deku, who also goes off to become "a man" by... going off on his own... somewhere. He ends up meeting "a terrible fate." So I suppose there are two obvious lessons here:
1. Don't go off on dangerous quests on your own. Link is a professional.
2. If you encounter a Keaton, your life just became a lot more prosperous.
At least, that's what I learned from this video. That's what I got the first time I viewed this, the same after repeating it. Only the second time I grasped what you were trying to say about not trying to prove yourself worthy of manhood through bold actions and such. That IS what you're trying to say, right?
The animation is a bit sloppy, but not enough to discourage people from watching this, which is encouraging. The voice acting is passable, though quiet at times. The only concern I had was with Cremia's voice. No disrespect to the voice actress, but... really. It just sounds too forced.
Did I enjoy this video? Not really, though I enjoyed the way it made me think. I enjoyed the experience of critiquing this video and what the underlying messages were within it. I suppose that's one way to entertain an audience, but unfortunately, it isn't enough for me to recommend this to others outside of my demographic (Critic, Zelda fan). I apologize in advance if this review sounds anything more than critical. I'm only trying to voice my concerns and give suggestions.
I think a nicer way of putting the moral is "Be happy with what you have." But I wanted to leave it up more for interpretation. Thanks for the review : >
Oh, goodness. I was not expecting that.
A sort of "the kids of Call of Duty meet Pokemon" type of flash. The animation was definitely impressive, but I feel like that Squirtle was a little outmatched.
I'm here.
